WHO WE HELP

Rescued Abilities Project programs are designed to help Military Active Duty, Veterans and First Responders with do. Please visit the Services page to learn more about the dog training that R.A.P. provides. 

The basics of our selection and training process:

  • Potential recipient applies using our Online Application

  • Our board reviews the application and applicant is notified of the proceedings

  • If selected, a phone interview is scheduled as well as an in person interview

  • Proof of your Service is required

  • Recipient will be required to participate in maintenance training.

  • R.A.P. continues to support each Dog Team thought out the term of the dogs life.

WHAT WE DO

Rescued Abilities Project provides dog training and boarding services to military active duty, veterans and first responders free of charge to those that qualify for our programs and funding is available.

 

Rescued Abilities Project (R.A.P.) works out of Mill Pond Kennel’s facilityMill Pond Kennels is a full time dog training facility located in Duson, Louisiana. MPK provides the training and kennels space for the R.A.P. program and donates office space at the facility for meetings, fund raising events and more. The facility consists of a climate controlled kennel and has indoor / outdoor training buildings. Learn more at www.MillPondKennels.com
