DOG

BOARDING

Many veterans do not have the challenges of PTSD from combat service. These individuals are working, start a business on return from their tours. Some enjoy the outdoors especially waterfowl or upland hunting. We have a dog from them as well.

Rescued Abilities Project is excited with this new twist for Veterans. R.A.P. trains hunting dogs for veterans that do not need a service dog but want to enhance their outdoor experiences. We can use a donated dog or one that they obtain themselves. R.A.P. will fund the dogs training and teach proper handling skills to the individual free of charge. If you are a veteran and this is a fit for you, please apply here.

We strive for well breed dogs that are tested negative for Exercise Induced Condition (EIC), great hips / elbows and with excellent health and temperament. For puppy donations apply here. Puppy donations are tax deductible.

Retriever training is provided by Mill Pond Kennels. To learn more visit the website.
